I'M ENGAGED!!
After a long day of watching Donal in his water polo tourney (4 games total), we all (John, Nina/Bestie, Nikki, Stephanie, Alan, and Justin) went to Cafe Fiore for Bestie's birthday dinner. With the terrible service we were getting, I realized to myself "Geez I've been waiting for my drink too long." I was exhausted and irritated. Bestie was VERY irritated having to wait so long for her drink as well as she stormed up to the bar to retrieve her own drink, John so kindly escorting her. Weirdly enough, Alan was acting distant and not sitting still. Then he turns to me and says "I want to talk to you. Come with me." Suspicious and hesitant I said "No, what do you want?" He insisted I take his hand so we could talk in private. I huffed and puffed, stopping every so many steps saying "What do you want?? Tell me now!" He was so patient and said "Come on, let's go outside." Once we got outside he tried to hold my hand but I pulled away, irritated "What?" He said something about loving me then goes "Okay here it goes, Aimee Lynne Reglos, will you marry me?" I stared.
"What? Are you serious?" in a mean tone, thinking this is NOT funny. But I realized he was holding a ring while kneeling down. I looked around for cameras or something. "Who's watching us? Are you serious right now?" I took the ring and put it on both ring fingers "Which hand does it go on?" "So is that a yes?" Alan asked. "Oh yeah, ok." I replied. "Oh geez how awkward!" I said. "I know" he said. "I hope our wedding isn't awkward like this was." I said. "It won't be." he replied.
Soooo...... I'm engaged! I already chose the date 11/11/11.
