Strut your mutt!

I did a little fundraising for the first "Strut your mutt" event in Santa Monica in honor of Boxer Rescue LA. I exceeded my goal of $200! Donal and I went to Santa Monica with Kaya to show off our boxer and looked around at the different venues, adoptees, and adopted dogs.

Afterwards we passed by Pepperdine University to view their flag exhibit. Here is Kaya, proud to represent the red, white, and blue!

Water polo is back in season!

Donal started high school this year. He made the JV water polo team as goalie. He is like a brick wall!

RIP sweet old Rasta

Rasta's time has come, after 18 years of a fun, fulfilling doggy life, he was put to rest, not an easy decision for Alan. He is now more comfortable and reunited with many of his doggy friends like Sam, his brother from about 9 years ago, and Happy.

Fortunately the vet office sent this card to Alan

Maui, Hawaii 2010

Alan and I went to Maui this year to attend and witness the wedding of Bern and Cody, at the Ritz-Carlton, beautiful! Fortunately we were able to double date with Gwen and Dale for the whole trip, which included ziplining. This was Alan's first trip to Hawaii and I've never been to Maui. One more island to cross off my list (Oahu, Kauai, the Big Island).

Alan and I made our yearly trip to Minnesota to see the girls' dance recital and due to good timing, to see Nene's school play, the 3 Piggy Opera.

Labor Day weekend in VEGAS!!

Me, Ngan, Cher, Jenn, Jove, Ange, Meesh, Cheryll, Sheryl, Gwen, and Inez made it to Vegas for a bachelorette weekend in honor of Bern. Some of us haven't seen each other since high school graduation, most of us for years. It was a great trip, my best Vegas trip ever. We stayed at the new hotel, Aria, in the executive suite. It was AWESOME!
